DENISE PANEDURO, PHD

Head of Research

Denise holds a PhD in Psychology from York University with special expertise in mindfulness and mental health, and brings over 10 years of teaching and research experience within higher education and top-tier academic healthcare institutions.  Demonstrating her commitment to the advancement of science, she has contributed to diverse research committees and boards such as the Education and Research Committee for the Toronto Academic Pain Medicine Institute and the Mount Sinai Research Ethics Board. Denise has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, disseminated knowledge at national and international conferences, and managed a large research portfolio at the Wasser Pain Management Centre, Mount Sinai Hospital. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Steering Committee of Mindfulness Toronto, a professional organization devoted to engaging in community practice and sharing evidence-based mindfulness research and training. Denise is dedicated to teaching mindfulness and modernizing the landscape of public healthcare.
